Which version of X Input should I use for my application?

As mentioned in other sections, we recommend all implementation is based X Input 2. It is better to be based X Input 2.3. Modern Linux distributions are all delivered with X Input 2 included.

How long will Wacom Xorg driver be supported on Linux?

The Wacom Xorg driver will be maintained and updated as long as Xorg server is included in new Linux distributions.
