Intended Audience

This document is intended to assist developers looking for a tablet-aware, cross-platform development framework.

Introduction

As stated on the page Why Qt, Qt is a multi-platform development framework used by some of the largest brands to quickly and efficiently develop and maintain applications for multiple platforms. Qt supports both Pen and Touch with support for character recognition as well as other features.

Qt-Supported Tablets

Qt supports most modern Wacom products. Limitations to Qt Pen support are listed on the QTabletEvent class page.

Qt-Supported Operating Systems

Official Qt platform support is listed on the Supported Platforms page. Generally speaking, Qt is supported on Windows, macOS, and Linux/X11 desktop platforms in addition to Android, iOS, and UWP mobile platforms with support for some web browsers.
